Jacquie & Chris

April 17th 2010 in Weddings

What a weekend!  The sun was shining, the flowers were blooming, the birds were singing.

Jacquie and Chris are just a fantastic couple.  They know how to laugh together and really have a blast.  Jacquie is also incredibly organized and creative with all of her little touches and special details.  On of my favorite was that she brought her grandparents cake topper and displayed it on her guest book table along with their wedding photo.

They were married out on the point and then headed back to cocktail hour under the dock and on the lawn, where their guests went nuts over the bacon wrapped scallops and kept our bartenders busy making their specialty cocktail of champagne, orange juice and a splash of peach schnapps.

The reception was great! Shortly after the new Mr. & Mrs. made their grand entrance a video was played that featured a toast from the Best Man who was stationed in Afghanistan and unable to make it to the wedding.  It was really special and I am sure something they will treasure forever.  After dinner the dancing began and the DJ from Steve Moody Entertainment kept everyone laughing and out on the dance floor all night long.  Everyone admired the beautiful flowers from City Florist and the cake was delicious.    As I mentioned before, Jacquie has an exceptional attention to detail and provided her guests with mini hot fudge sundae spoons as a perfect (and adorable) addition to her cake.

Needless to say, everyone had an absolute blast and nobody wanted the evening to end.
