Sam & Matt

November 6th 2009 in Weddings

Sam and Matt had the essential Eastern Shore wedding, with fabulous Fall colors and a fun day filled with family and friends!  On Friday surrounded by twinkling lights they enjoyed an Eastern Shore BBQ rehearsal dinner on the dock.  Saturday morning started off rainy, but reports had the weather clearing from 4:00 – 7:00pm and then raining again.

Since Sam and Matt really wanted to have an outdoor wedding we decided to set up the ceremony on the dock where they had enjoyed their rehearsal dinner the night before.  At 4:15 the sun peaked out from behind the clouds just in time fore their 4:30 ceremony! The still stormy skies made for some fantastic photos that Shelby Leigh captured perfectly! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and Bay Strings provided lovely music.  After the ceremony the guests enjoyed the clear skies, by having cocktail hour outside by torchlight.  After cocktail hour everyone headed inside for an adorable slide show put together by the brides brother and a fun night of good food, good friends and good fun!
The following morning, the couple cut the grooms cake as well and everyone ate cake for breakfast!
It was a great weekend and a fun event for everyone who attended!
